Our commitment to you

iCAP Services offers counselling in a safe, confidential and creative environment, encouraging you to discuss current events and/or discover subconscious influences which have an impact on your everyday life.

We use a variety of counselling methods to creatively explore and help you discover the origins of any subconscious beliefs. These may be affecting your wellbeing, or governing your behaviour and reactions to today’s challenges.

Meet Tina Pitsiavas

Image of Tina PitsiavasTina Pitsiavas is in private practice in Wollongong, NSW.

She specialises in Art Therapy, Narrative, Focusing, and Sandplay Therapies. Tina finds these therapies allow clients to be part of a deeper and more experiential therapy session.

By incorporating her interest in the Arts (drawing, painting, etc.) during some of the sessions, Tina believes counselling and psychotherapy becomes a more encouraging experience for her clients.

Tina is expanding her work with grief, loss and bereavement issues — faced by children, adolescents and adults — and the effects of life-threatening illness within the family.

Tina trained as a counsellor and psychotherapist to formalise the skills she developed in her corporate life when dealing with people from various walks of life and cultures in Australia and overseas, where she lived for some time.

Her different roles in business have required her to listen empathically to the concerns of and problems faced by her customers/clients. During meetings and workshops she facilitated, Tina often played the role of counsellor and mediator to ensure her clients felt heard.

Tina volunteers for CanTeen, a charity and support group for teenagers dealing with cancer, either personally or within their family.

Tina has also written articles on the styles of counselling that she uses in her practice.
